Nocturnals Competition

Email entries to: webmaster@nocturnals.com

Bryan Goff writes: I was wondering if I could put together a Nocturnals art contest for Halloween? It just wouldn't be Halloween without a Nocturnals art contest.

OK, here is the deal. We'll have an open art competition. Entries have to be in by the end of November. We'll give you the web address to send entries to next week (don't send them to Dan!). Judging will be by the fans of Nocturnals.com (i.e. you guys and gals!). We'll announce where to send your votes at the end of November when all the entries will be showcased on the site. Entries can be anything Nocturnal related -- you might take a picture of yourself dressed up as Starfish or Gunwitch at Halloween? Or a painting, sketch, clay or computer model? So what is the prize?

There will be one winner, and they get a signed copy of the ultracool Nocturnals: Midnight Companion.

Sound good?

Nocturnals: Midnight Companion preview art

Ive been in the trenches, working like a fiend on the story for Midnight Companion- its 18 pages long and introduces new characters and villians, as well as some familiar faces- Im very exctied about it. the story was a record-breaker for me in terms of how long it took to paint. Im trying a new style thats heavily reliant on drawing rather than straight painting- and it looks sharp!

we're gearing for a november release for the sourcebook- Im really excited about it.

Here's some art...
