BRERETON'S CHRISTMAS MESSAGE

Greetings everyone!  its cold and snowy here at home, and Im rushing to get off a batch of batgirl pages I just finished. the Midnight Companion Sourcebook is still in the productions stages, but the work coming in from the various artists is really sweet.  The hardcover companion guide to the Nocturnals is 'art-heavy' and something no Nocs fan need miss, I assure you,. especially if you want to see the Nocs battle their new enemy , Rictus and his gang... very cool stuff! Look for NOCTURNALS: A MIDNIGHT COMPANION in stores in March.

in other news, I just found out Im doing a "Luna Moth:" story for the Escapist comic Dark Horse is publishing in  2004 , based on the characters from author Michael Chabon's bestseller THE AMAZING ADVENTURES OF  KAVALIER AND CLAY . Luna is a sexy moth-babe with witchy powers and miles of fishnet-stockinged leg, and the story is 18 pages, painted, and set for issue number 2, I beleive.  hubba hubba!

many of you know about my first big movie deal:Universal Pictures is buying THE PSYCHO . Jim Hudnall, co-creator and co-owner and myself are very excited as 'U'( as the trades call them)  is really gung-ho about the project. it was a nice way to end the year.

Im currently working out the plans to make GIANTKILLER and THE PSYCHO trades happen in the new year... keep your eyes peeled and your fingers crossed for both these projects.

The Nocturnals are about to enter into their 10th year - its their decade anniversary in 2004 and special things are planned, and Im going to do my damndest to make a new Nocs adventure happen ... and its a very cool project I have in mind, pitting the Nocturnals against a certain literary foe that all of you Im sure are familiar with, and Ill say no more for now on that subject...

The Breretons are all good- and hoping Santa is kind to us again this year..  and I wish the same for all of you - our warmest wishes for a happy holiday season to each and every one of you, (especially those who actually entered the art contest- best of luck to you!)
