Dave Dorman and his family lost their house in the Hurricane in Florida. dave's best pal is helping him out I just donated a piece of art i did especially to help dave's family, Please help if you can, it is much appreciated - dan
His pal Steve says the following:
Just an FYI to let you know Dave Dorman and his wife Denise (8 months pregnant) survived Hurricane Ivan last night, but their house did not. Dave's home sustained serious damage and until the rains cease, there is little they can do but continue to bail water from their destroyed bedroom, bathroom, and below that their kitchen and living room. Outside, Dave lost
six trees, one of which ended up on top of his car. This is a heavy blow to Dave, who earlier this week was excited to jump into his next graphic novel.I have set up a website with the URL: www.friendsofdavedorman.com
There will be an auction within the next two weeks to help Dave.
Thanks.
Steve (Smith)
I have some lego versions of Nocturnals from a fan named David Oakes... very cute.

Ill be challenging William Stout, four time champion in their Iron Artist competition. its a virtual homage to the Iron Chef program- and this year Im going up against Stout, a friend and mentor. Im more than a little nervous. the audience usually numbers around 1400- and the judges are picked from there too. takes place sunday morning. Ill bee attending the show all four days as well with a table in the artists alley.
Features one of my first vampirella covers in years, as well as an artivle and lots of new vampi art by Yours Truly. And this is really cool- Harris comics offers a "virgin" art edition- this means no copy or text ( other than the classis vampi logo) on it. limited to 1500 copies.
