Dan Brereton will sign copies of GIANTKILLER at 2 p.m. Saturday at Flying Colors Comics and Cool Stuff, 2980 Treat Blvd. in Concord. Proceeds from the sale of the book will go to Save Mount Diablo, a non-profit dedicated to preserving the East Bay peak and its surroundings. Dan will be on hand top sign his other books, and Flying Colors carries lots of Dan's work for those who are newcomers to his style.
"I havent done a store signing in a while, and Flying Colors is my old haunt from when I lived in the Diablo Valley. So its a bit of a homecoming for me. Im hoping parents will bring their kids, Id' love to see them introduced to reading thru comics."
A free print created especially for this event will be available at the signing, but quantities are limited.
