Fetchlight-(Seyton)

A spirit who normally visits this plane once a year on All Hallow’s Eve, this year he partied a bit too long and has become trapped here in mortal form.

He’s the one who likes to show up in mirrors pretending to be Bloody Mary at kid’s parties, and moves Ouija board planchettes for fun.

He’s about Eve’s height, a sore point with him, since he was , he claims, quite the tall dark and handsome in his spirit form.

Mortal powers include frustratingly vague psychic premonitions, and the ability to detect veils or thin spots between the planes. He knew some of Eve’s toys from before. They hate him because he’s such a smart-ass troublemaker. ( Maybe it’s his fault they are on this plane…)

(fetchlights are the same as corpse candle, dead man’s candles, jack o’lanterns: they are the lights that float in nighttime graveyards or churchyards)

Pumpkin Puzzle Box

object origin: found by the Gunwitch in his travels on a dusty shelf, in a ghost town, wrapped in a decaying cardboard box a present for Halloween Girl (Eve)

object description: a small (5"x5") plastic pumpkin with two eyes, a nose, mouth and stem. the facial features are actually buttons, used in combination with stem to manipulate pumpkins actions. the stem is set within a small recess, with the four cardinal directions etched into a circle around the stem. turning the stem to one of the directions in combination with pressing the facial buttons, results in the various actions.

object destructions: while almost in the same state of decay as it's cardboard box container, there still seems to be a legible destruction manual. there is a vellum cover page showing the pumpkin in all it's glory and a script bearing the name of the manufacture. on the parchment paper inside are the schematics and the pumpkin's technical makeup, along with the key page, showing the necessary combinations and actions of the pumpkin puzzle. all other pages have either been torn out or lost somewhere. the key page has also seen better days, as only five of the codes are still legible.

Silentnight - The Mothman

Silentnight is a character I created as a new Nocturnal that would be a combination of an insect and a human. Silentnight is like his name suggests a silent character who can sense and hear very high-pitched sounds. He also has the ability to camouflage himself like a chameleon with his wings. Although his wings are strong and big his bone structure is more like the humans have -too heavy for flying.

As a child he would play and run around the fields where he grew up (maybe in Nevada). When he grew up he was faced with the problem being an outsider in the human society. Therefore I created Silent-night a silent hero -because he would feel more belonging to the insect world. His favourite hobby is also connected to his insect side: he loves to collect things that give him the feel of flying.

Silentnight finds the Nocturnals as something of kindred spirits. He is fond of Gunwitch because like him he speaks with his presence not his voice. This came from my idea that whatever my character would be he/she could resemble Gunwitch as a person that would be fierce-looking but still raise admiration.Silentnight also has the look of a real Noc in a way that he has the look of something that could be from a horror flick ( the Addams Family shirt and the wings ) but also something from us everyday people ( the Converse sneakers ).
