THE MIGHTY KEVIN!

The Mighty KEVIN!  Pardon the really bad art... Please read my intro first!!  Not too many words over 200.
 
What makes this 14 year old boy fit within the Nocturnals' universe?  His rotund body, creepy eyes, and curly hair have nothing to do with the secrets this boy holds in his mind. 
 
Poor Kevin's parents started to get the idea that Kevin could read their thoughts when he was 8.  As the years started to pass, Mr. and Mrs. McCarthy stopped believing in mere coincidence and deja vu.  Did their little Kevin have psychic powers?  If he could read minds, could he control them too?
 
Kevin feigned shock at the suggestion he see a "doctor".  He could read the word shrink in their face.  Unfortunately for his parents, Kevin's time at the office only strengthened his mind and let him realize his powers in full.  Little Kevin not only took over his parents minds and controlled their daily life, but also chose to control his stunningly attractive psychiatrist.  He used them for his bidding, and paraded his conquests like trophies. It wasn't until Kevin saw a young girl named Eve, that his mind became distracted for the slightest moment. 
 
There was something about her that made him feel like he had a soul mate, someone like him, different.  If only he could pry her away from those around her, can he control them?  What if she doesn't want to play?  Can he control her?  Time will tell.
 
Poor Kevin is one of those kids that wasn't liked in school.  It's tough being the big kid in class.  Besides the normal bullying and name calling, Kevin found it hard to block out the thoughts of the other kids.  Unfortunately for him, he was bullied in body and mind.  As he learned to develop his mind, he found that things came a bit... easier.
 
Visually I picture Kevin looking somewhat like Chunk from the Goonies.

Height: 6ft
Weight: around 200lbs
Origin: Oregon

Description:  Long brown hair that hangs over face and shoulders.  Has a muscular build but not too muscular - fit.  Dresses like a 20 - 30 something rock fan.  Wears band T-shirts (A. F. I., Danzig, Zombie, Misfits) jeans and boots.  Average looks with rugged features and tattoos.  Has fangs and a sort of glow around him.

Back Story:  Father an Angel who was given the chance to be human for a sort time.  But when he fell in love with a Vampire he was pulled back.  Mother Vampire gave birth and left as an orphan. Was adopted by the Cortez Family of Oregon and named William. As he grew so did his fangs and pointed ears.  Wings would could come and go.  Shunned as a freak.  Not knowing what he was until both sides (Heaven and Hell) came for him.  He possesses the power of both worlds and they want him but he wants neither.  While traveling the country (as Nomad) he'd heard of this band of Nocturnals and set out to find their leader - Doc Horror.  Hoping to find a home in the shadows.  A place where he's not a freak.  A place among friends.  But Heaven and Hell won't let him go that easy.

THE VELVET RAVEN

A prophetic, deeply purple, somewhat fuzzy raven that perches itself on the Gunwitch's shoulder to give him ominous predictions of the future. Would also leave Gunny's perch to keep Halloween Girl safe in unpredictable scenarios where his attention might be distracted from her.

Since I can't draw, I'll leave the design up to you....What I envision is a Breretonized raven that is basically black but with purple highlights on the underbelly, wings,and eyes. A bit of a smudgy appearance would be used to denote his velvet-like texture.
